To obtain the applications through Citrix, email the IMT Support Desk and request access to Microsoft Office through Citrix along with an explanation of why you want the programs. Example: 'I need to make excel documents for work while using my iPad.' Once you have been given access you will then need to open a program called Citrix Workspace.

Ive tried looking through previous posts but cant find answer so thought I'd post a question.

Ive started ork for a new place - they allow bring your own pc - I have mine - a standard laptop running Windows 10 - I have 2 monitors connected so 3 screens total - all works great.

The work virtual desktop is via workspace app - i tried reciever but got prompted that there is a newer version available and as i found out that is now workspace app since 2018. So I have that and can log into my virtual desktop at work - but can NOT for all the searching around find a way to extend it to the other 2 windows. I can move the virtual desktop to any of the 3 screens but cant get it to consume any more than the one its on.

Troubleshooting issues with installing the .NET Framework

  • The minimum required version of the .NET Framework is not installed before installing Citrix Workspace app
    The Citrix Workspace app installer downloads the .NET Framework Version 4.6.2 installation package from Microsoft and then installs it. This process might take several minutes.

  • The following error message appears when you launch the Citrix Workspace app installer.
    This dialog appears during network issues. You must have active Internet connectivity. Check your internet connection and try again.

  • The following error message appears when you launch the Citrix Workspace app installer.
    Installing the .NET Framework requires administrator privileges. Run the Citrix Workspace installer as an administrator by selecting Run as Administrator.

  • The following message appears after you install Citrix Workspace app.
    In some scenarios, you must restart your system your system for the installation to complete. Click Yes to restart your system.
    Note: If you click No, the following error message appears when you try to launch Citrix Workspace app. Restart your system to complete the .NET Framework installation and changes to take effect.

    The Citrix Workspace app installer installs the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable using the installation package bundled with the Citrix Workspace app installer. This process might take several minutes.

  • The following error message appears when you launch the Citrix Workspace app installer.
    Installing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package requires administrator privileges. Run the Citrix Workspace installer as an administrator by selecting Run as Administrator log on as an administrator to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package manually.
